About PEAK

Who we are

PEAK Christian Academy began as a dream to provide something different for Abilene families.

Envisioning a collaborative community of parents, students, and teachers, we set out to create an environment that would foster intellectual, social, and spiritual development in every child, while placing equal importance on the role of play. At PEAK, we take learning seriously and have fun, too! We believe, and research shows, that children learn best in this way.

At PEAK, we do more than teach—we walk alongside each student every day to help them grow academically, emotionally, and spiritually. Our classrooms are small by design, allowing teachers to truly know their students, differentiate instruction, and nurture both strengths and struggles in real time. On any given day, you’ll see students engaged in hands-on learning, collaborating across grade levels, integrating faith with academics, and being encouraged to ask big questions.

We are redefining education by shifting the focus from test scores to whole-child development. We prioritize relationships, creativity, and character just as much as curriculum. We build time into the day for mentoring, leadership development, physical activity, and personal reflection. Our approach bridges traditional education with the flexibility and personalization many families crave.

For parents, PEAK is a partner—not just a school. We provide consistent communication, family events, and support that fosters alignment between home and school.

admissions process

For New Students - Application Period Reopens February 2026

  • Step 1: Submit your Initial Application with $35 application fee.

We are excited that you are interested in PEAK! Your first step is to submit the Initial Application form. Completion of Step 1 does not guarantee enrollment for new families. You will receive an email within 2 weeks notifying you of your eligibility for Step 2.

  • Step 2: build your Student Profile.

If you are eligible for Step 2, you will receive a link to complete additional requirements, such as reading responses, video introductions, and references – all of which are elements of your Student Profile. We recommend that you begin working on your Student Profile immediately, as we start filling openings in April.
Step 2 requires a $35 application fee per family. This fee must be paid before the profile is considered for enrollment.

  • Step 3: Wait for a Family Interview Call Back.

If your Initial Application and Student Profile are approved, you will receive an invitation to schedule a Family Interview.

  • Step 4: Wait for an Enrollment Invitation.

Invitations to enroll at PEAK will be sent to accepted families via email.

  • Step 5: Pay Enrollment Fee.
