2024-2025 SupPLy List
The $300 supply fee pays for student learning materials, curriculum, and manipulatives as well as general/bulk supplies. It also covers student subscriptions to learning websites, online library sites, Chrome extensions, and Google classroom access.
However, there are a few things that will be personal supplies.
Please LABEL and bring the following on the first day:
headphones (wired headphones are preferred over wireless)
supply box (K-4th)
zippered pencil pouch for binder (5th-8th)
clipboard
Each day your child(ren) will need a backpack, non-leaking water bottle, and a packed lunch.
2nd graders and up: Chromebook (See below for more information)
3rd-8th will have lockers. Feel free to purchase locker accessories for fun. Lockers won’t have locks and will be in a shared space with the church.
Chromebooks
Why do we use Chromebooks?
Compared to other technology, Chromebooks:
are less expensive
have a longer battery life
are less prone to viruses
are cloud based which simplifies storage
seamlessly integrate with Google Classroom, which is our platform at PEAK for communication, assignments, and collaboration.
There are numerous options for Chromebooks. You can search on Amazon, Walmart, or most any other retailer that sells technology. The amount you spend on one is up to your family. Any model is acceptable. Refurbished ones can be purchased for less than $100. Try to consider one that is manageable in size to be carried around. Padded cases come in handy. This is a good time to talk about handling our things with responsibility. Conversations about how to carry a Chromebook, how to prevent it from being dropped, keeping it away from food and liquids, and not losing it are all important before we start school.
